On Wednesday 7th February local potter Rosemarie Durr visited 5th and 6th Class and showed them how to make cups and eggcups from clay. She showed them samples of cups and bowls from her shop in the Discovery Park. She showed the children how to make their own pottery items using the pottery wheel. The children really enjoyed this experience and a special word of thanks to Rosemarie for taking time out to come and show the students how pottery is made.
