The Children in Firoda that braved the elements and arrived in school on Wednesday January 14th. had a wonderful Winter Wonderland Day. Having persuaded the “Younger” Teachers to join them they made the best of the unusual weather conditions. All sorts of snowmen were made while the senior pupils having recently studied the world war, set up their own “Fronts” with No Mans Land in between and re-enacted the “Battle of the Somme” though afterwards they renamed it “The Cold War”
