The "Maths for Fun" initiative is designed to foster a love of mathematics. It engages parents as volunteers to play maths based games in small groups. Focus is placed on turn taking, praise, encouragement, consolidating knowledge such as number recognition, adding and subtraction.  It aims to reduce math anxiety, build confidence, and make learning tangible through hands-on activities.

The Junior and Senior infants are loving having some of their parents in the classroom, working with them and their peers.
